How do I know my information is secure?

We vet every employer joining the platform. Though we can't prevent employers from copying your information, we do our best to prevent bad actors from gaining access to the platform.

How much does it cost?

It is free for you, and it's free for everyone (for now)! We may charge employers for special/premium features, if necessary.

Is it true you require reference checks to join the platform?

Yes, it is true. We do this to ensure that great candidates join TALNT and employers are assured they are accessing top-tier candidates. It's a win-win for both parties.

What happens if I do not get a reference?

Unfortunately, we will not show your profile to employers. You must receive a reference check that passes our screen. If you receive a reference but it doesn't pass our screen, we will ask you to obtain another.

What if I want to make changes to my profile?

We're adding candidate profile editing capability soon. In the meantime, if you have any changes to your profile, please email support@hiretalnt.com.

Which companies are you partnered with?

We'll be adding that to the website soon, we promise.

How do you vet employers?

We look for top employers to join the platform based on job openings, company size, job locations, industry, and several other factors. We plan to err on the side of "letting more people in" as that is better for candidates.

How long must I wait before getting approved?

It shouldn't take more than a day or two. If you haven't heard back, please email us at support@hiretalnt.com.

How does candidate outreach work?

After finding candidates that you are interested in, you will see their contact information in the employer UI. Feel free to reach out to them directly via email or on LinkedIn. We would encourage you to provide context about how you discovered them in your initial outreach as well as a description of the potential job.

for REFERENCE CHECKS

How do you conduct reference checks?

We ask all candidates to provide a reference check. After you complete your candidate profile, you will be given a link to share with your references. We assess how they answer the questions in our reference check and use that information to determine whether or not a candidate passes our screen. The best references are provided by coworkers at recent employers.

How many reference checks do I need?

You only need one! But, you can get as many as you would like. We would recommend asking a few people at once to increase the chances that you will get a reference check quickly.

What should the person giving my reference check expect?

After you complete your candidate profile, you will be given a link to share with your references. Your reference check giver must authenticate via LinkedIn to confirm their identity (to confirm it's a legitimate reference), and then they must answer a few short questions about your work together. It should only take a few minutes.
